Dad update
Just a quick note to let you know that Dad is now home from the hospital. He is still on oxygen and having some word finding difficulties but it is getting better. He was given a walker but of course isn't sure if he needs it or not. :-)
Grandpa called here last night to talk to my mom while she's visiting for a few days. He sounded like he was doing much better and I was surprised how well he was able to converse given all the notes about his progress. Thank you everyone for the updates.
I still doubt the word people gave me that I passed out on sunday at the hospital. I went for a walk with 2 nurses but got weak and low so I told lthem I couldn't walk any further and wanted to go back to my bed. The following days I was able to walk on a 4 aisle trip but used a walker and felt alright. I went 3 times each day. When I came home from the hospital they said I needed a walker so they brought me one. I used it once when I got home but havn't used it since. I went to afuneral on Saturday without the walker, then to the Doctors office on Thursday. Dr Beard said I looked better than he thought I would be based on what the Dr in provo told him. I have another appointment on May 21. Thanks for all your concern for me and Marna and hope to talk to any of you would like to call me love Dad/Grandpa/Grandpa Great
