Merry Christmas!!

We had a Christmas party yesterday up in Brigham City. It was a lot of fun. We had good food, and even had a celebrity guest! That's right, Santa showed up! And he made everyone sit on his lap . . . even grandma and grandpa. However, there were a few rebellious teenagers (ok they were mainly adults) who didn't want to sit on Santa's lap, so he sat on them instead! I didn't get a lot of pictures at the party, so maybe someone who took more can post them, but these are the few I snapped with my phone. I couldn't resist these Kodak moments. Excuse them because they are cell phone quality pictures:On another note, we talked a little about the upcoming McGee Family Reunion set to take place sometime in the summer of 2009. We have a few dates picked out and need everyone to let us know which dates work best for you. We are thinking either July 31-Aug 1 (Friday and Saturday, these are all Friday-Saturday dates), Aug 7-8, or Aug 14-15. Respond to this posting ASAP and let me know which days work best for you. If you don't voice your opinion, you have no excuse for not coming when that time comes around!

That looks like it was a lot of fun!!!!

The Wolf vote for the Reunion would be if we could push it back even farther in August. I have a big work event that last weekend of July/first weekend of August. Then Ross and I are going to Minnesota so he can walk at his Master's Graduation the weekend of August 8th and we're probably going to stay a bit longer to see all his family. I'm not sure if we'll be back in time to make it for the weekend of the 15th. So we'd vote for the 22nd if at all possible. We definitely want to make it if we can so that's our two cents.

Or maybe even waiting until Labor Day would work for everyone?

People with kids in school will have a hard time with Labor day. Perhaps that's only us and Linda since the rest of the school age kids are in Utah. We might be able to make the 15th. Earlier would be better and later won't work for us.

Sam starts school August 18th. I would prefer the week ending August 8th. However, after buying a first class ticket for Dave to attend his father's funeral and attend to family matters, the reunion may actually end up not being feasible for us. Set the time that is most convenient for the rest of the family.
