Patti's New(est) Pet
From following Patti's facebook, here is her newest pet. Apparently she lets it share the bed where it got a bit greedy recently. Maybe Patti can share more details?
What kind of details do you want? The fact that it stung me twice while I was asleep (hmmm doesn't THAT make you want to come visit?). The fact that I was awake for over 24 hours while I waited for the neurotoxin to run it's course through my body (actually a tadbit nerdily fascinating). The fact that Frank kept it and we named it "Owie". The fact that my arm was numb for over 48 hours but no visible marks showed up until a week later. You can now see two red marks where the stings happened but it doesn't hurt. Or the best fact that we had a very thorough exterminator date shortly after and have not seen any evidence of "Owie"'s relatives?
