Just to let everyone know, i was let go from my job today. Cummins has decided that due to the economic situation they had to let go of a certain number of employees. I just happened to be one of the unfortunate ones that was let go. We would ask that during this time that you pray for us as we look for a new job. We both went to the employment office today and are both looking for full time jobs. In the meantime, my hours at Gamestop have been bumped up to 40 hours and i will be drawing unemployment and recieving a severance package.

KC, Good luck with the Job hunt. I'll keep you and your family in my prayers. What kind of work are you looking for? What do you do at Gamestop? That sounds like a fun part time job. Hope its enough to tide you over while you find something else. Its stressful when switching jobs, but the Lord can use these changes to position you for something better. He's given you lots of promises. Use your faith to rely on Him.
(Our ward has an employment specialist who helps people get their resume's up-to-date and into some additional systems besides the government type employment jobs bureaus. Most Stakes have them as well. Take advantage of that resource as well.)
Dude, I'm so sorry. I know how you feel; Josh was laid-off a couple weeks ago. We will certainly be praying for you guys. Let us know if there is anything we can do.
