Sam participated in the Valley Middle School Chess
Tournament on Saturday, March 28th. After placing 11th in the school tournament the week before, he had no problem defeating the other school champions to take 1st place in the District. As a result, he also took his team to 1st place.

I'm impressed. When you visit next, we'll set you up with a counselor in our Bishopric. He's a chess fanatic. At ward game nights he sets up several games and plays the young people in the ward simultaneously.
You'd have fun with him.
