Does everyone know how to subscribe to a feed? If you have a newer version of Internet Explorer, there's an orange icon near the top right of your browser, next to the "home" icon. Click on it and you'll be taken to a page where you can click on, "Subscribe to this feed." It'll then save it in your Favorites. To access it again, click the yellow star near the top left of your browser, then click Feeds. Now you can easily check to see if there's a new post! Under Feeds, it should show "McGee Family Blog" in bold letters when there's a new post to look at. (If there's not a new post, it won't be bolded.)
Now, everbody subscribe so we can all know when there's a new post! :o) If you have a different kind of browser, you can comment with instructions for subscribing from that browser.

Thanks for that, Laura. I usually use Mozilla Firefox browser. I don't know if anyone else uses that browser, so here is how to do it:
First, you can either look for the link of the page that says "subscribe to posts(atom)" or something like that. It is on the very bottom of the page on the left side. OR you can go to the bookmarks tab at the top of the browser and click "subscribe to this page". Both options will do the same thing.
Once you've selected one of the above options, you will be taken to a page where you can subscribe using different services. You can use google reader, or live bookmarks, etc. I've always used google reader to subscribe to blogs so I have one place to look instead of many.
If you would like to keep tabs on this blog more than others, or would just like to know when something has been posted here, I would use Live Bookmarks. This puts a bookmark in your regular favorites list. I don't know what it does when a new post has been listed, but it lists all the posts in a folder and I assume that it adds a new one when there is. However, I can't tell you for sure.
Well, I hope this makes sense and helps!
