25th Great Grand Father: Philippe II of France (1165)

Phillipe II, King of France, born 22 Aug 1165 (or 25th or 21st) was our 25th , 26th and 27th Great grandfather, at least 17 different ways. (There are about 134 million 25th great grandparents, so many of them are duplicates).
He was crowned king when he was 14 as his father declined in health. He was married on 28 April 1180 to Isabelle of Hainaut, who brought the County of Artois as her dowry. At the wedding he was 14 and she was 10 years old. His father died later that year so he became full king in September 1180 when he was 15. He and Isabelle had their first son (Louis the VIII), our ancestor, when she was 17 in 1187 but she died in childbirth in 1190. Philippe ruled for 43 years before he died in 1223.
